SAKUTEI – PROJECT @ Yu Hanabusa 2021～

いかにして絵画で庭を作り出すか、私は絵画作品を描き出し、展示することにより外を感じる空間を生み出したい。

室内にいながらどんな風景も作り出せる窓、又は扉としての絵画のポテンシャルを探っている。

近年絵画のイメージを染料プリントで布に移すことによって、より柔軟に扱える可能性を感じており、

文字通り室内に植木や灯篭を置くことができるプロダクトを作り出している。

これらのプロダクトはポリエステル100％に染料インクを熱処理で定着させているため、

Washable paintings, washable plants

(洗える絵画、洗える植木）

と名付けました。

In these years, I’ve been trying to create the outside feeling in the rooms by setting up my paintings

of the plants or the gardens.

Through the experiments, I’ve been searching the potential of paintings

that creat the windows or the doors to show any kinds of view in the rooms.

Nowadays I have met a printing technique to transfer the images of my paintings onto the fabrics

by dye ink. As they are made of polyester fabrics, you can eather wash them and iron them,

So now I named it as “Washable paintings, washable plants”.
