英ゆう個展「森」／FOREST

バンコクで制作したレリーフエッチングの代表作「FOREST_2009」や「Spiral 2005_2009」を含む約１８点の版画作品と、チャオプラヤー川を描いた油彩大作などpaintingを４～７点展示します。「森」には混沌や混雑、現地の熱帯雨林等、バンコクでの生活を象徴する意味が込められています。水の都バンコクでは森と川が共存します。それらのイメージをまとめました。

“FOREST” at Imura Art Gallery is also by the works form the residency in Bangkok. Here a big painting of “Chao-Phra-Ya river” and the other 3-6 pieces of paintings and about 18 pieces of prints including one of her most important relief etching works “Forest_2009” and “Spiral 2005_2009” aare exhibited. She expresses more freely with mono-type technique on prints just lilke her paintings. “FOREST” combines the meanings of chaos, crowdedness and the real tropical rain forest in Thailand which symbolizes her impression of the life in Bangkok.
