workshop at C.A.P. studio in Chiang Mai

2004年にチェンマイに１年滞在制作したとき以来、友人のprinterでartistである、Kitikongの個人スタジオにて、多様なプリントテクニックを体験、制作するワークショップをしに行った。彼は色んな作家と仕事をして、それぞれに合う方法を考え出す天才だと思う。
ずっと以前からの約束で、今回第一回目となるが、約８日間、みっちりやって、それなりの結果を得られたと思う。
今後もまた機会を作って、ある意味で共同制作的な作品を作ったり、何かの形でお返ししたいと思う。

Kitikong and me have been good friends since I had stayed in Chiang Mai in 2004, he is a professional printer and an artist in Thailand. I have been to his studio to do the workshop with him and he had shown me sevaral new techniques and helped me to create my works in the different ways. He is quite talented to create the new technique to print and that is to fit the each artist’s character. So this time was first time for me to do this, and I am quite satisfied by the result through this workshop for 8 days, then I hope that we can do this again as to make our collaboration works in the future and hope I can return some profits to him with my big qppreciation.
