Idin Papermil in Langphang
タイ人アーティストなら誰もが知っている、タイの手漉き紙の工房、Idinpapermilに紙を見に行った。
ここのajaan Spanはもともと化学か何かの先生だったが、1986年以降独自にacid freeの紙を作り始めた。
雁皮の紙はsurpaperという。その他竹の繊維を混ぜた物等、少し厚めのものとカーボン入りのが欲しかったので、それらのを何枚かずつ購入。使ってみて調子が良ければバンコクから追加注文をしよう。
I visited the handmade papaer studio, Idin Papermil in Lampbang, where it is quite famous among the artists in Thailand.
Ajaan Span used to be a teacher about chemical or so, then he started to make the acid free paper by his original way since 1986. He makes Ganpi paper called sur paper and also makes the paper made of bamboo. I like the thick kind of paper and some with carbon inside. So I bought some of those pieces for sample and later I might order from Bangkok if it works on my printing.
